PlayStation LEGO Leaks With A Price That Won't Destroy Your Wallet

LEGO's next console collaboration will apparently be with PlayStation, and this one is shaping up to be more affordable than some of the alternatives. In recent years, LEGO crossovers with video game brands have become increasingly common, with sets ranging from a LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System to a PAC-MAN arcade cabinet.

According to leaker LEGO_Minecraft_Goat on Instagram, a model of an original PlayStation is up next, as reported by Polygon. Slated for a December retail release, the PlayStation set will cost $159.99 or €159.99 euros. For that price, you'll get 1911 pieces and models of "at least the controller and the console."

While we don't have any pictures or additional details about the LEGO PlayStation set yet, other console sets provide a reasonable frame of reference for what to expect. The NES set came with models of a console, controller, TV, and Super Mario Bros. cartridge, while an Atari 2600 model skipped the TV in favor of three game cartridges and more extensive interior details.
