Elden Ring's Official 2026 Return Promises To Be Worth The Wait

With the GDC Festival of Gaming coming to an end in San Francisco later today, attendees were able to immerse themselves in the gaming world by getting their hands on some upcoming releases, meeting dedicated developers, and learning how games are made from the ground up. However, there was one exciting addition at the event, and with positive reviews flooding in, it bodes well for fans of FromSoftware's beloved Elden Ring.

First released back in 2022, Elden Ring saw Dark Souls' creator Hidetaka Miyazaki come together with Game of Thrones visionary George R.R. Martin to create a role-playing game on a never-before-seen scale. Set in a vast open world known as the Lands Between, Elden Ring tasks the player with becoming the Elden Lord as they fight all manner of punishing bosses and make their way to the throne. Now considered one of the greatest games of all time, it is no wonder that fans are eager for more, and this upcoming release may just satiate the need for more of the stunning world.
