Just last month saw the beloved The Legend of Zelda franchise celebrate its 40th anniversary with the first entry, aptly named The Legend of Zelda, first released by Nintendo all the way back in 1986. It is hard to believe that it was four decades ago that we were first introduced to a series that would go on to revolutionize the gaming sphere. However, to celebrate, fans can get their hands on this stunning piece of memorabilia courtesy of a collaboration between video game music label GameChops and The Sixth Station Trio.
Courtesy of this exciting collaboration, fans can hear some of the most beloved The Legend of Zelda anthems in one stunning package. Consisting of 16 tracks, some of the game's classical hits come together on this remix album and are performed on the piano, cello, and violin. According to GameChops itself, “each reinterpretation leans into emotion and storytelling. “The Sixth Station Trio’s sound evokes classical recital halls and film scores alike; balancing softness and power while allowing each melody room to breathe.”
