Released back in 2006 and taking place a century after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess saw players control Link in an alternate timeline from Wind Waker. As he fights to prevent Hyrule from being engulfed by a corrupted parallel dimension known as the Twilight Realm, he finds himself being assisted by an imp named Midna.

Met with critical acclaim upon launch, Twilight Princess has found itself on the greatest games of all time list, and was even the highest selling The Legend of Zelda title up until the launch of Breath of the Wild in 2017. However, despite a remaster being released in 2016 for the Wii U, fans are still waiting for the day that Twilight Princess arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Over the years, many The Legend of Zelda titles have made their way to the Nintendo Switch console, either as part of its Classics selection, or thanks to newer releases such as Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
