Capcom has released another small update for Resident Evil Requiem, giving players a fresh patch to download across platforms. Ever since Resident Evil Requiem was released across all major platforms on February 27, 2026, the game has been a major success, with many calling it one of the best in the Resident Evil franchise. The game sees the return of Leon S. Kennedy in the mainline series almost 13 years after the events of Resident Evil 6.

Resident Evil Requiem aims to deliver everything the Resident Evil franchise does best in one title. The first half leans into survival horror, with players stepping into the shoes of Grace Ashcroft, an FBI agent caught up in a troubling investigation. The latter half shifts the gameplay of Resident Evil Requiem toward a more action-driven experience, where players take control of franchise star Leon S.
