Pokémon's First Multi-Region Game In Decades Has Fans Seriously Hyped

The Pokémon franchise is as iconic as ever, and though Pokopia has gone some way to righting the proverbial ship, the major series releases from Game Freak have been a little up and down of late.

One of the major criticisms of the last few releases, whether that be in the main series or the Legends spin-off, is that there hasn't been enough evolution in what they actually feel like to play. The addition of minor features has been nice, but with Generation X approaching, it does feel like the series needs a major refresh to recapture some of that old magic.

Now, new leaks have begun to surface that the developer is planning to do just that, and if they come to fruition, it really could be the most exciting game release for the franchise in a very long time.

Over on Twitter/X, well-known leaker CentroLeaks shared details on what they are referring to as the "next evolution" for Pokémon games. Known as "Project Seed", it's a highly ambitious change of pace that would revolutionize the beloved franchise moving forward.
