Fallout is no stranger to riffing on Westerns, whether that's through clothing, quests, or even games like Fallout: New Vegas. And while most of the genre-bending RPGs lean more heavily into sci-fi and even horror, there are still some great moments and locations that give off Red Dead Redemption vibes.
Now, thanks to a mod for Fallout 4 called Padre Mateo, you can keep those Western vibes going even longer. Padre Mateo, which can be found over on NexusMods, provides about an hour of additional content as you're tasked with tracking down the Padre's stolen Bible. There's also voice acting and new locations to explore in this quest mod, so it meshes incredibly well with the base game.
Padre Mateo is recommended for players who are level 15 or higher. To start the quest, you'll need to head over to Diamond City in Fallout 4, stop by the bounty board, and grab the corresponding note. It'll appear once you've downloaded and installed the mod. The mod is available on PC and Xbox, so if you're on PlayStation, you won't be able to check it out. You can, however, watch a playthrough of the quest in the video above....
