Resident Evil Requiem’s New Grace Nerf Will Make Your Playthrough Way Harder

Resident Evil Requiem’s eponymous Requiem gun is a godsend in almost any scenario players can wield it in, but a recently released mod is turning the tables to make the experience of firing it far more realistic for one of Resident Evil Requiem’s protagonists. While Leon would have been trained in skillfully using the weapon, Grace’s much meeker stature and lack of action-oriented gameplay would theoretically make the Requiem akin to a bazooka in her hands.

As per Nexus Mods, user Veoxys0910’s mod amusingly makes it so that “firing the Requiem as Grace now deals damage to the player. Big gun, higher cost.” While the Requiem used to be a clutch that players could have in their inventory as a safety net if cornered or out of ammo for one of the two other pistols she receives, players can choose to make a challenge run out of their playthrough and nerf the Requiem.
