The Fallout franchise is going through a bit of a golden moment in terms of its own popularity right now, with the lore of the games brought to a whole new audience via the excellent Prime Video adaptation.
At the same time, ongoing games like Fallout 76 continue to draw in sizable audiences and old classics like Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remain reliable old friends to return to whenever the mood strikes.
All of that said, that sudden burst in popularity has also had the knock-on effect of heightening demand for more news on the next game in the mainline single-player series. It's been more than a decade since Fallout 4, and we still know almost nothing about the sequel, but comments from the developer could hint that, at the very least, it could be a bigger adventure than we have ever seen before.
