Crimson Desert is so close to launch right now that we can practically smell the mud off Kliff's soggy boots...eew! But us gamers have been burned too many times before and there's still one giant looming question hovering over its release. From Crimson Desert's showcase trailers to actual gameplay footage, we've seen the game running buttery smooth but only on PC and more recently, the PS5 Pro.
Thanks to Digital Foundry, we've gotten an in-depth look at how the game runs on high-end PCs and the powerful PS5 Pro. Everything from frame rates, particle effects, draw distance and lighting have been studied under a microscope and the game looks amazing on both platforms. But, if you're an average Joe like me, you're planning on playing Crimson Desert on a base PS5 and are starting to feel a little bit nervous.
