Over recent years, a potential Pokémon Legends 3 has been rumored with the codename 'Project Galar' attached. With rumors suggesting that it will release around 2027-2028, Project Galar would be set 1,000 years in the past, with a focus on the ancient Galar as players discover the origins of Dynamax and Gigantamax, and the creation of the infamous Poké Balls.

Although it is just a mere rumor right now, leaks continue to swirl and now, according to yet another insider, Project Galar's potential has left fans feeling divided.

According to Light, in a since deleted Tweet, Pokémon Legends: Galar/Project Ringo will be a "Pikmin-like game where you command groups of up to 30 Pokémon." Set in the ancient Galar, players will form wild alliances with Pokémon in order to battle massive Dynamax foes in a theme based around "AI x Physics". The leak continues by revealing that Pokémon Legends: Galar/Project Ringo will have an emphasis on Pokémon behavior, group dynamics, and environmental interaction with the objective being to craft the first Gigamax Poké Ball using ancient technology.

Of course, this leak is worth taking with a pinch of salt as Pokémon Legends 3 has not been officially confirmed...
