The original three Mass Effect games still serve as comfortably one of the best RPG series of all time, with the saga of Commander Shepherd serving as the defining experience in the genre for many who grew up at that time, myself included.
Though we're still all better off forgetting the disappointment of Mass Effect: Andromeda, there is some hope for the future, with the fifth game in the franchise supposedly in pre-production at Bioware, after the 2025 launch of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
