Fallout 5 remains a bit of a pipe dream for fans of the franchise, with developer Bethesda Entertainment putting all of their proverbial production eggs in one basket, namely getting The Elder Scrolls VI into the hands of players as soon as possible.
Given that it has been over a decade and a half since the last release in the main series for the latter, that's an understandable decision, but it doesn't make it any less galling for players who want to continue exploring the post-apocalypse.
Thanks, in part, to the release of the Prime Video adaptation, there are more of those than ever as well, so it would certainly be financially prudent for the developer to placate the masses as quickly as they can. Until then, we have to rely on the extensive modding community that continues to fill in the gaps, and one project in particular looks about as ambitious as they come.
