Even subgenres can thrive on Steam. While you wouldn't expect a ton of representation of the genre, there are a number of cyberpunk games on the platform, and more on the way.
Over on Steam now, you can pick up a game that is currently sitting at "very positive" reviews and is still getting updates.
Developed by Late Night Games, Cyberpunkdreams is an "evolving" RPG where you play the role of a wanderer in 2090s Cincinatti, boasting "2.9 million words of content." The setup is enticing, yet familiar: "2090s America, torn apart by war and corporate greed. A lone traveller stands outside the gates of Cincinnati, greatest of the border cities. How far will you go to make it to the top? How far will you go to fulfill your mission?"
Yep, it sounds like a dystopian cyberpunk game, alright, but it also has some seriously impressive user reviews. As Slopped-Up Chim Jims writes: "Insanely good game, well worth your support if you like narrative-focused stuff with a lot of depth."
