Hogwarts Legacy Official Update Announced, Coming This Year

Hogwarts Legacy has proved to be a very popular new release for Warner Bros. and Avalanche Studios, building off the foundations of the Harry Potter IP to deliver an entirely new story to players and fans.

It still serves as one of the three most played single-player games on the PlayStation 5, in terms of raw hours, and a sequel is now in active development, though that could well be a very different experience if rumors about the potential narrative are to be believed.

Though the studio has entirely moved on from actively releasing content or updates for Hogwarts Legacy at this point, another company has just released a product that's set to change the game significantly, but it may well be for the worse when it does eventually drop later this year.

Over on YouTube, Nvidia confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is going to get an update later in the year that will allow it to take advantage of the new DLSS 5, which dials up the AI rendering on their graphics cards to a whole new level.
