The PlayStation 4 is still trucking along and is still going strong in some countries. Although PlayStation hardware typically lasts a long time in the secondary market, not every game continues in service indefinitely.
According to a report from PlayStation Lifestyle, another game is shutting down and getting delisted in short order. As the PS4 clings to life, we're losing another one.
Based on the report, publisher Perfect World has announced that they're shutting down operations for Tower of Fantasy on PS4. On April 7, 2026, the game will be delisted entirely; purchases will be removed on September 22; and PS4 service will be fully shut down on PS4 on October 20. So while you still have some time to plan for the game's removal, you should start figuring something out sooner rather than later.
The good news is that Perfect World is allowing the transfer of content and progress to PS5, so you can theoretically upgrade if you're really invested in Tower of Fantasy. The game is also available on PC and mobile platforms, but it is PlayStation console-exclusive.
