Following a recent ban wave that seemingly impacted ARC Raiders users with accessibility-style controllers, Embark Studios issued a statement on social media, addressing the situation and how it plans to resolve it. Although ARC Raiders hasn't seen a ton of controversial issues since it launched last year, pressure appears to be mounting for Embark to maintain its level of success, especially now that it has other competitors like Bungie's Marathon attempting to steal the game's current extraction crown.
After launching on October 30, 2025, ARC Raiders became one of 2025's biggest games, capturing a massive base of players in a specific genre that isn't known to be very mainstream friendly. Embark seemed to be pushing all the right buttons, as the game not only managed to maintain its players throughout the rest of the year, but remained relatively free of major issues or controversies. That's not to say the game was perfect, it definitely experienced a handful of frustrations, but for the most part, ARC Raiders continued to lead the way in its genre. However, in recent weeks, many players may be starting to feel a bit frustrated at the current state of the game.
