Xbox Game Pass is on a roll. Although price hikes have been brutal for the service, more games are coming to the platform each week, and now we have a sense of what April will bring.
As per True Achievements, we're getting two genre games in April so far, and there's more to come. It's not a bad place to be this early in the year.
These two games offered in April couldn't be more different, and they highlight the strength of the Xbox Game Pass catalog. First up is Replaced, a game developed by Sad Cat Studios and published by Thunderful. Tasked with "exposing the sinister secrets of the Phoenix Corporation," you'll play an AI trapped in a human body, as you explore an alt-version of 1980s America. As a dystopian platformer, you'll uncover more background on the in-universe lore through an action-based system.
Replaced is out on April 14 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass day one. It's the sort of stylized platformer that's perfect for the service: it looks like a tough sell for many people, but is a great Game Pass incentive for folks who aren't into the genre.
