Star Wars Is Officially Getting A New Game From Ubisoft

If you've been keeping track of all the upcoming Star Wars releases that are supposedly on the way from various developers, then you'll know that it's a particularly exciting time to be a fan of the franchise, particularly if everything comes to fruition over the next few years.

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, hailed as a spiritual successor to the beloved Knights of the Old Republic, is currently under development at Arcanaut Studios, while the genuinely brilliant-looking pod racing release, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, is also on the way soon enough.

We're even getting a remake of the aforementioned Knights of the Old Republic, while Quantic Dream's Star Wars Eclipse is supposedly still ticking away behind the scenes. The only caveat to all that excitement is that we're going to have to wait a little while for them to drop, but another game is on the way a lot sooner, and it's a collaboration that you almost certainly wouldn't have expected.

As first reported by ComicBook.com, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed the upcoming release of Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains, a "dynamic team-based twist on the world’s favorite family board game."
