Last year's WWE 2K25 has become one of my most-played wrestling games of all-time and the first entry in the Visual Concepts-era where I haven't run into creation suite limitations impacting my experience -- which makes the release of WWE 2K26 even more exciting. In the year since 2K25 hit shelves, we have seen WWE elevate The Vision's Bron Breakker to main event status while the Bloodline that 2K25 was built around has morphed into the MFTs and WWE as a whole acquired Lucha Libre AAA, which gets representation in 2K26 thanks to the new Ringside Pass.

For the first time, we'll see a full-fledged roster of talent originating from another company with the first Ringside Pass season including a lot of AAA talent like Mr. Iguana and seasons including talent like the new La Parka and El Hijo Del Vikingo and the Mega Championship. The inclusion of several AAA arenas is also nice as we've seen some lucha-themed arenas in the franchise before, and now they're officially licensed.
