Zelda: Twilight Princess' Long-Awaited Return Leaves Gamers Impressed

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is looked back upon as a real high point for the legendary series, with the GameCube era itself having a real resurgence in overall popularity right now and increasing demand to see the games from those halcyon days return in some form.

Unfortunately, even if you already own them, booting the game up on the original hardware can be difficult and awkward given the changes in display technology over the last twenty years or so. So the best way to enjoy it moving forward would be if there was a handy PC port that brought Twilight Princess all the way forward into 2026, and what do you know, that's about to become a reality.

Over on YouTube, Video Game Esoterica shared extensive gameplay footage of Twilight Princess running on the PC, after the game was finally completely decompiled. If you aren't familiar with what that means, it essentially means that the game's machine code has been reverse-engineered and translated to C or C++, allowing it to be ported to the PC for the first time.
