Raven Software reveals that the highly requested solo queue is finally being added to Call of Duty Warzone's Black Ops Royale mode, but there is one thing to keep in mind before jumping in. Although Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 didn't have the typical sales impact the franchise usually does, Activision and its development studios have continued to plug away at the experience through new updates and seasonal content. In particular, Season 2 has seemingly generated a bit of momentum for the shooter, with Call of Duty: Warzone also launching a highly anticipated game mode.
Although Warzone's Black Ops Royale mode was originally announced during Call of Duty Next back in 2025, the mode finally launched in full with the Season 2 Reloaded update earlier this month. The mode itself is a modernized take on the classic Blackout game mode introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, removing many of the standard Warzone features, such as the Gulag, Buy Stations, and Loadouts, in favor of players having to scavenge for everything while staying alive.
