Console players, rejoice! A new wave of mods has been approved by Larian for use in Baldur's Gate 3's console version. The last drop was just over a week ago, which means we could be returning to the weekly cadence of mod approvals we saw throughout 2025.

The last drop we saw added several new classes, including 'the Elder,' a battlemage-style hybrid class. It also featured an automatic rifle, for those looking to more efficiently slaughter a camp full of goblins.

This time around, Larian has vetted and approved 19 mods for consoles. This wave includes a set of new subclasses, new weapons and improved versions of two familiars, Boo and the raven, Quothe.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a game that's being modded very regularly by users, but we haven't yet seen anything on the level of some of the sensational mods we've seen for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the most modded game in history.

Still, sometimes, we get a nice optimisation or interesting piece of new content from the community. The most downloaded mods for Baldur's Gate 3 are almost all cosmetic, which tends to be the case for any game.
