We're two thirds of the way through the Final Fantasy VII Remake, with the final part set to drop at some point in 2027, and it'll serve as the conclusion to what has been a pretty epic return to one of the greatest PlayStation games of all time.

The original Final Fantasy VII Remake dropped in 2020, and it was almost entirely focused on the opening, urban section of the game, set in Midgar. That was followed up by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which picks up where the first left off, after the party escapes from Midgar, with both games adding additional content and features for a fresh take on the beloved narrative.

Now, there's just one more game to go, and fans have been debating what exactly it should be called when it does finally release to round everything off.

Over on Reddit, one user went to ask the Final Fantasy community exactly what they felt the final part of the trilogy should be called. Assuming they are planning to stick with words beginning with "R", responses regularly listed words like Reunion, Retribution, and Resolve as potential options.
