The Witcher 4 may be the most immediately enthralling game from CD Projekt Red, as it should be the next title that the studio ships, but that has not thwarted Cyberpunk 2077 fans from continuing to fixate on when its sequel will be released thereafter. In fact, based on the sparse information we have about when The Witcher 4 could launch, it may be easier to pinpoint when Cyberpunk 2’s release date will be.

On Reddit, gamers have coalesced to mull over the details of CD Projekt Red’s financial report from several months ago. In doing so, it seems certain that CD Projekt Red will not have Cyberpunk 2 out before 2028, with 2030 being the soonest that it might see the light of day (and even that would be optimistic).
