Baldur's Gate 3's next patch won't be its last update, with more features planned for the future. This is despite Larian seemingly moving away from Baldur's Gate 3, as it kicks off the development of its next two RPGs.
This was just confirmed in a blog post that details some of the features we can expect from Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 7. Here, Larian assures fans that it still has "a few things up [its] sleeve". This includes crossplay, confirming that this won't be included in Patch 7 as some had assumed.
"It’s hard to believe it’s almost been an entire year since we launched Baldur’s Gate 3," reads the blog pot. "But the journey isn’t over yet.
"Patch 7 won’t be the final update for Baldur’s Gate 3. We still have a few things up our sleeve - including many community-requested features like crossplay and a photo mode to capture and share your unforgettable moments," Larian continues. "And we’re working on a host of other enhancements, from gameplay tweaks and quality-of-life improvements to bug fixes and performance optimizations."
