Cookie Run Franchise Announces New 3D Open-World Game

Cookie Run: New World is the name of a new 3D open-world game from South Korean studio Devsisters. Announced during the company's latest annual showcase, the upcoming addition to the Cookie Run franchise is still a long way out, being planned for release in the late 2020s.

The reveal follows earlier signals that Devsisters was preparing a larger-scale expansion of the Cookie Run brand. In a February 2026 strategy update, the company confirmed it was working on an Unreal Engine open-world game for PC, consoles, and mobile devices. At the time, Devsisters said the upcoming title was code-named "Project N," framing it as a way to expand its franchise to new audiences, ultimately helping strengthen its global footprint.

Project N was officially revealed as Cookie Run: New World during the DevNow 2026 showcase.
