Arc System Works revealed that Guilty Gear Strive will have a 2.0 update. Revealed at the Arc World Tour finals by director Ken Miyauchi, is the next revision of Strive. The new season will include several changes to the fight including new mechanics, characters, and other changes.
The new battle mechanics will be added. Right now, two of them, Wild Assist and Counter Blitz, were seen in the trailer. There was no explanation as to how they work as of yet. New special moves will be added to characters, too. Some characters are shown with some of these such as Leo, Ky, and of course – Sol Badguy. Accessories and Outfits will be forthcoming for characters as well as new skins.
Short Stories looks like it will focus on expanding the lore of Strive with cutscenes and dialogue for single player fun. After Dual Rulers appeared, the story of Guilty Gear Strive is still steamrolling along. The Blazing Pass will start in May...
