Capcom appears to be teasing an expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2. Following up on a cult classic, DD2 was one of the most anticipated games before its release two years ago, and despite garnering a contentious reputation for performance and content shortcomings, was still one of 2024's best RPGs. Its second anniversary has just recently passed, and new official artwork seems to hint at new content finally coming to the game.
To celebrate two years of the RPG sequel, the Dragon's Dogma Twitter account shared brand-new artwork, which appears to be staged in-engine. It appears innocuous at first, but fans have been quick to pick up on a couple of important details. First is the suspiciously framed letter on the table, written in the fake language of Gransys, the setting of the first Dragon's Dogma. Second is a character in the back of the scene turned away from the camera; they don't appear to be a character present in Dragon's Dogma 2.
