Xbox's next showcase is happening this week, but don't expect to hear anymore about the next-generation Xbox or new gaming CEO Asha Sharma's plans for the brand.
Xbox today announced that the next Xbox Partner Preview, a showcase dedicated to third-party titles, takes place this Thursday, March 26. The show will focus on news of upcoming games and content from Sega, GSC Game World, and Owlcat games, plus brand-new reveals and world premieres. While no clues were given to what these new reveals and world premieres might be, we do know certain games and hardware won't be there.
While it would be exciting to get updates on Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and a number of other titles from Microsoft-owned studios, it's not going to happen. Nor should players expect any new information about the next-generation Xbox.
