It wasn’t that long ago that fans of the Sword Art Online manga, anime, and even games got excited when Bandai Namco announced a brand-new Sword Art Online game called Echoes of Aincrad. Today, a brand-new trailer has been released that shows off a bit of the story and introduces several NPCs that you’ll interact with during the game.

Those who are familiar with the series will notice that several characters from the Sword Art Online universe have made an appearance, including Hosaka, Carina, Tomo, Kibaou, and of course, Kirito. Who knows what other characters will be hanging around or are part of the story.
Thankfully, this is a new game that takes place in the Sword Art Online universe, and we’ll get to experience the first two floors of Aincrad with our own created characters and try out something completely new. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to dive in.
