Modding just got a new home with the new GGMods website. The site will be going live on April 13. To not only coincide but also celebrate this historic launch of GGMods, a Modathon will occur. GGMods is hosting its first Modathon, and really first of anything, starting on launch day as five games will participate in the event. Known as the Spring Madness 2026 Modathon, the event will run from April 13 to May 11. This is a contest, but all contributions will help grow the community and establish a library for downloads. Spring Madness 2026 Modathon Details
The Spring Madness 2026 Modathon will consist of a multi-week community competition that encourages creators to publish new modes. This win-win for the new GGMods platform will not only reward the users, but establish a library of mods for five games to kick off this historic event. Four weekly themes will encompass these four weeks with prizes awarded for standout entries. These prizes will be weekly across the event with $1,000 USD going to one mode in every participating game.
