WWE 2K26 has been out since March 13 for everyone, and after feedback from the community, 2K Games has made big adjustments to the Ringside Pass system in patch 1.07. Most patches so far have been some gameplay tweaks, adjustments and minor things while this update is gigantic given the scope of the ringside pass itself. Before, players unlocked new characters after unlocking enough RXP to get them, which drew a fair amount of complaints from users.
The biggest point of contention is that this Ringside Pass of year-long content is meant to be a replacement for the season pass, which unlocked included characters automatically, and by having the characters locked behind another gate in RXP, it wasn't a 1:1 replacement. With the 1.07 update, WWE 2K26 becomes a more user-friendly experience for all.
Now, with this shift over to the new update, characters will unlock when the new season's Tier 1 level has been reached -- making it far more user-friendly across the board.
