It's hard to know what games are available on Steam at any given time. While AAA releases are pretty widely known, there are thousands of smaller free games on Steam right now.
Take this Steam release, for instance. Mixing Hogwarts Legacy and Stardew Valley, it provides an incredibly chill experience for free.
As of this week, you can pick up Forage & Brew for free on Steam. Playing as a cat witch that inherits a potion workshop from your grandmother, you'll gather ingredients, craft potions, and solve people's problems.
Here is what the game is about: "Forage & Brew is a game where you play as a Cat witch in her potion workshop. Explore the forest, gather ingredients and brew magical potions in order to help the many clients that will come for your aid. How will you decide to live it out each passing day?"
For free, that sounds like a pretty incredible premise. Reviews are squarely in the positive camp at the time of publication, with one wrinkle: "This game rules - the atmosphere, the illustrations & the cozy gameplay are so fun.
