MARVEL MaXimum Collection Now Available on PC, Consoles Digitally

Three months after the release of Marvel Cosmic Invasion on PC and consoles, the Marvel brand is back with a compilation of classics spanning a multitude of consoles and arcade releases with the Marvel MaXimum Collection. The X emphasis in the title is there likely due to the inclusion of X-Men: The Arcade Game getting its first console release since its Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network release in 2010 before it was delisted along with the mobile versions in 2013.

While the game came out in '91 right as the speculator boom was hitting big for the comics industry and X-Men as a whole, it was actually based on an '89 pilot film called Pryde of the X-Men that was broadcast a lot as filler programming and released on VHS once the X-Men animated series got big. Marvel MaXimum Collection is a value-filled compilation of some of Marvel's best and most fascinating games in its history.
