Who would you rather fight, one kaiju-sized Michael Myers or 254 regular-sized Michael Myers? This past weekend, one of these entities manifested. At PAX East, Halloween broke the Guinness World Record for the “largest gathering of people dressed as Michael Myers.” The gathering came about after a panel celebrating the upcoming asymmetrical stealth horror game based on the classic film.
Halloween, developed by IllFonic and co-published by IllFonic and Gun Interactive, alongside partners Compass International Pictures and Further Front, took a few stabs into the PAX East scene. Aside from the panel and gathering, the game also shared its first-ever playable demo. The show-exclusive demo let players step into the shoes of either the masked menace or one of his potential victims.
