CD Projekt Red did such a remarkable job turning Cyberpunk 2077 around after its disastrous launch that it is now widely seen as one the best RPGs of the last decade or more, if not ever.
We'll never know what the true effects of that scramble to rectify the situation will be, but it almost certainly meant that plenty of additional content that the developer had planned was consigned to the scrap heap, in favor of fixing what players already had in their hands.
Whilst this is obviously an immensely understandable and sensible decision, it does leave us with questions of what might have been. The Phantom Liberty DLC showed us just how incredible new stories in Night City could be, but it turns out that is far from the only DLC the developer had planned for the game.
