WWE 2K26 Update Adds Major Progression Changes Ahead of WrestleMania 42

With WrestleMania 42 just around the corner, there’s been a bunch of new updates for WWE 2K26 that are worth talking about.

To help people catch up, especially with Ringside Pass Season 2 launching on April 15, there are a few bonuses being rolled out. From now on, players will get enough RXP for Season 1 to unlock 20 tiers (just give it up to 24 hours after logging in for it to show up). On top of that, anyone who’s already been playing and has their 2K account linked before April 14 will also get enough RXP to unlock 20 tiers in Season 2 when it starts.

They’re also making progression a bit easier going forward. The RXP needed per tier is dropping from 800 to 625 in Season 2, and it won’t increase again in future seasons. RXP Boosts are getting buffed, too, which should help speed things up.

Another nice change is with the Premium Ringside Pass; starting from Season 2, all four DLC characters will be available right away at Tier 1, so you won’t have to grind to get access to them.
