During today’s Xbox Partner Preview, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio gave us a new look at their upcoming new IP, Stranger Than Heaven. Although we didn’t get the full-on gameplay presentation that many might have expected. The trailer we did get to see did more than enough to whet my appetite for more of this game.

The gameplay looks like a more violent, visceral take on what we have seen in the Yakuza/Like A Dragon franchise in the past. I’m very excited to get my hands on Stranger Than Heaven and find out whether it can deliver the grittier impact I’ve always wanted from RGG Studios’ other titles.
My only concern at the moment is with the game being set across five different time periods. Not because that isn’t interesting or unique, I just have doubts over the ability to tell a cohesive story across so many eras. That being said, I really...
