If you thought the world of Cyberpunk 2077 was drying up, you've got another thing coming. The epic action RPG will return six years old this year, and to celebrate, CD Projekt Red is welcoming a special new release in the fall. While Netflix works on its own comeback with Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the team at Dark Horse has its own new Cyberpunk 2077 series in the works.
According to the comic publisher's most recent listings, it is set to release Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome in full this fall. The horror spin-off will show a new side of Night City, so fans will not want to miss the ambitious new series.
Written by Doug Wagner, Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome will hit the big leagues on November 3, 2026, with its own collected trade. The collection will pull together Wagner's original issues of Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome, which he made with artist Tommaso Bennato, colorist Rico Renzi, and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. This collection will go live months after the series' debut, as Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome brought issue #1 to shelves in January 2026.
