If you didn’t already have an addiction to NetEase’s Marvel Rivals, and you’ve been wanting to play it on the go but don’t own a handheld gaming PC, yet you do have a Nintendo Switch, well, you were out of luck. But not anymore. NetEase has revealed to IGN during an interview at GDC 2026 that Marvel Rivals is heading to the Nintendo Switch 2.
While the popular Marvel shooter has been available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox for some time, fans have repeatedly asked if it would make its way to the original Switch. It never did, but at least now we know it’s coming to Nintendo’s latest console. That said, NetEase isn’t ready to share much more just yet.
Marvel Games executive producer Danny Koo revealed to IGN’s Rebekah Valentine that the game has been in development for the platform for some time, though details remain limited. Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard something about the game heading to the Switch 2, as the Lead Producer of Marvel Rivals, Weicong Wu, had mentioned back in 2025 that NetEase was working already working on porting the game to the Switch 2.
