PlayStation Studios has been busy during the PlayStation 5 generation. They've tried a lot of big swings, from PC publishing to live service pushes, and not everything has worked out.
Now, as reported by Game Observer, even more changes are coming. Sadly, this is a sweeping shift that fans won't like.
Based on the report, multiple studios have removed all references to PC ports from their official materials, including their websites. This comes at a pivotal time when Sony is reportedly cutting their PC publishing strategy, starting with not moving forward with a Ghost of Yotei PC port.
For now, it seems like one of the biggest Sony-published games of the past few years will be stuck exclusively on PS5, despite the fact that its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, is on PC. Based on the report, multiple studios have removed all references to PC ports from their official materials, including their websites.
Right now, Saros is really close to launch and will still arrive on PC, and due to "prior agreements," Marvel Tokkon will still make it on PC later this year. Outside of that, Sony seems to be moving out of the PC business entirely.
