Steam Drops 4 New Free Games For April, No Strings Attached

Steam is going to have a pivotal few years ahead. Between the potential return of the Steam Deck and the return of Steam Machines, there's a lot going on right now for the company. That's not even including rumors of a new Half-Life, and any number of first-party titles they're working on.

That said, there's a ton of games constantly being added to the service that you won't need to pay for. Over on Steam right now, you can grab four games for free.

The first free game is Off Course, which has arguably the most intriguing premise of them all: "Stuck in a time loop, stop the possessed captain's plans in this cooperate-with-yourself puzzle game. Record each pirate’s actions to solve puzzles, interact with adorable animal companions, and get to know the brave pirate crew and the bond they share with each other."

Described as a "single-player co-op game," you'll control three pirates as you solve puzzles and uncover more about their history as crew. Animal companions are also in, coming together to form a wacky experience that several Steam user reviews seem to be enjoying at the moment.
