Niantic reveals the Replay: GO Bigger event happening for a limited time for Pokemon GO players in April, adding new rewards and event-specific bonuses while bringing back fan favorite Gigantamax Kanto starters. There are always new things to do in Pokemon GO, as Niantic constantly adds new limited-time events and other bonuses alongside the typical seasonal content. The latest reveal is bringing back some fan favorite Kanto Pokemon through their G-Max forms later this month.
In fact, Pokemon GO is just coming off of a couple of recent events, including a special Fashion Raid Day on April 4. For April Fools Day, Niantic finally brought Mimikyu into Pokemon GO, a generation 7 creature that fans have been waiting a long time for. While some likely considered the tease an April Fools' Prank, Niantic confirmed it wasn't a joke as the Ghost-type was added during the A Shockingly Good Time event. For those who managed to progress through the associated Event Pass, an encounter with Mimikyu was added in at level 30 and 60 respectively as well. Later this month, fans will once again have a chance to go head to head against some Kanto Gigantamax Pokemon....
