CD Projekt Red today released a new patch for Cyberpunk 2077 that adds support for PS5 Pro.
It's hard to believe that nearly six years ago Cyberpunk 2077 was a complete mess. CD Projekt Red had shipped a game on PC that never fully lived up to its promises and was a far cry from the quality of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Things were even worse on PS4 and Xbox One where the game barely ran. It was a humbling moment for the developer and publisher, but CD Projekt Red worked tirelessly to rework the game. Numerous patches, official PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, a beloved expansion, and a Nintendo Switch 2 port later and the game is fully vindicated.
Cyberpunk 2077 today is a must-play RPG across all platforms, but there is one missing. For a game that's all about pushing technology forward, the game noticeably lacks support for the most powerful console on the market at the moment, PS5 Pro. CD Projekt Red appears to agree, because official support for the console is available today.
