GTA 6 Official Price Update Has Left Gamers Pretty Happy

The launch of Grand Theft Auto VI is just months away, if there are no more delays, that is. However, with the release date fast approaching and pre-orders expected to go live in the upcoming months, fans are starting to worry how much they will have to fork out to be able to afford a copy of, what is now considered, the most anticipated video game release of all time. With standard AAA releases costing a minimum of $60 in recent years, many expect Grand Theft Auto VI to be the most expensive yet. However, a recent comment from Take-Two Interactive's CEO does give us a shred of hope.

According to Take-Two Interactive's Strauss Zelnick in an interview with The Game Business, Grand Theft Auto VI will launch at the "standard" price of $70-80. There is no denying that this is still a large amount of money, but with some fans believing that it could cost up to $100 for just the standard edition, this price is reassuring.
