The latest Xbox Game Pass update has introduced Tiny Bookshop, expanding the service's ever-growing catalog of cozy titles. The acclaimed management sim arrives as the fifth new addition of April 2026 and the 59th Xbox Game Pass release since the turn of the year.

Developed by German studio Neoludic Games, Tiny Bookshop is a 2025 game about leaving everything behind and starting a modest bookmobile specializing in selling second-hand books in the cozy seaside town of Bookstonbury. Its gameplay centers on stocking books and trinkets, arranging shop decor in order to optimize for certain customers, and give book recommendations to locals. As this management loop goes on, the game gradually reveals bits and pieces of lore about the town's history, thus offering narrative motivation for continuing. Thanks to its hand-drawn graphics, gentle music, and cozy vibes, Tiny Bookshop has earned a reputation as a great game for relaxing.

A highly rated 2024 game that rewards creativity and control joins three tiers of Xbox Game Pass as the service's fourth new title of April 2026.
