The wait for Fallout 5 continues and with the post-apocalyptic setting joining the likes of The Elder Scrolls VI in the list of Bethesda titles that seem as though they will never see the light of day in our lifetimes, fans are getting angsty. After all, the Fallout franchise began its life way back in 1997, and since then, it has become a cornerstone of the gaming sphere. Now, with nine mainline entries under its belt, alongside multiple spin-offs, remasters, and even a hit Prime live-action adaptation, it is no wonder that fans want more.
However, despite Fallout 5 first being announced back in 2022 as the next major Bethesda project after The Elder Scrolls VI, we have yet to receive any further information since.
However, it is not all doom and gloom as Fallout's dedicated modding community are keeping the franchise alive by offering new and unique ways to experience some of our favorite installments in the franchise.
