A reliable insider is seemingly suggesting that Sony's rumoured PS5 Pro won't be launching in 2024 as has been widely reported over the last year.
Even though we've had games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Zenless Zone Zero as timed PlayStation exclusives (as well as Astro Bot in just a few months), it's not been a very busy year for PlayStation fans. Sony Group president Hiroki Totoki previously confirmed that there wouldn't be any "new major existing franchise titles" released for PS5 in 2024, something that's becoming more and more noticeable as the year goes on.
With backward compatibility rumored to be on the horizon, my PS3's days may, at last, be numbered.
Even though we've not got many big new PlayStation exclusives to look forward to (although Astro Bot is really all you need, come on guys), there was at least some excitement on the horizon thanks to rumours of a PS5 Pro.
