As far as the Pokémon Trading Card Game goes, we're getting an abundance of sets in early 2026. We're fresh off of Perfect Order's launch, but Chaos Rising is set to arrive on May 22, with pre-release kicking off on May 9. That's fairly soon, but you'll need to get ready for yet another set in just a few months.
Thanks to Poke Beach, we have new details for Pokémon TCG's July set, and fans are torn on whether a major mechanic will make its return to the meta. Some welcome its return, and others are ready for it to stay gone after rotating out.
According to the report, Pitch Black is the next set for the Mega Evolution line and will be released on Friday, July 17. Before that, the pre-release will run from July 4-12. Pitch Black is going to derive a lot of its theme from Darkrai, which also sported a Mega Evolution in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A: Mega Dimension DLC.
